Matt is a first year student at the University of Minnesota studying tuba performance. He was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. When he’s not in class, he enjoys hanging out with his friends and making the homies laugh. Additionally, Matt can often be found working events at Ted Mann Concert Hall or making drinks at Caribou Coffee. After spending most of her childhood in Papillion, Nebraska, Darby is delighted to reside in the big city as a first-year student at the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities). You can oftentimes find her giving tours of the campus as part of her job in the Visit Office. Darby is enthusiastic about a number of activities, including, but not limited to, quilting, baking bread, wearing funky jackets, reading War and Peace, visiting art museums, being theatrical, and of course, recording this podcast with her dear friend Matt. She has been described as “whimsical” and “flamboyant”.
Brett, who is native to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is in his first year of studying physics and computer science at the University of Minnesota, and edits the podcast. While not working on homework the day it is assigned, his hobbies include playing and developing videogames, reading fantasy and science fiction, and playing board games (especially Dungeons & Dragons). Additionally, Brett has crocheted hats, scarves, and even a blanket, but has yet to complete Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.
Thomas, a born and raised Minnesotan, is a first year student studying computer science and statistics at the University of Minnesota, and helps out as the multimedia content producer of the podcast. While not working on classwork, you may be able to find him in the Gopher Way or attempting to study in every building on campus. Some of his more unusual interests include flag design, the band U2, and James Garfield. He is extremely grateful to help make the podcast available to you all!
